I-Nex: The open source version of CPU-Z
Sometimes it may be useful to know the details of our hardware that we can hardly find between the system settings.
In this case, an instrument like I-Nex it can be very useful.
For those coming from Windows this program will remember a lot CPU-Z.
I-Nex it's a "Profiler" that detects the specifications of CPU, RAM, Video Card, Motherboard Chipset, and other hardware features of our PC, gathering all the information in a handy window that can be easily consulted.
The main screen is divided into several tabs, each of which is dedicated to a specific aspect of the system.
The CPU board, for example, displays the full name of the CPU, the size of the L1 and L2 cache, the voltage, the temperature, and so on.
Or the GPU card, contains the specifications of the graphics chip, its processing capability of OpenGL.
To install it, we first check in the repositories of the distro because I-Nexit should already be available in the official repositories.
But if this is not the case you can always download the tarball from the project website, also you will not need to fill in anything because the program is distributed as a set of files ready to use.
